During the last season Palumbo SY Refit has been entrusted with many prestigious projects. Among some notable examples stands M/Y Wheels, who once again chose the Palumbo network for her refit, this time with major upgrades including an extended GRP structure, a new sliding glass arrangement system, a completely new Jacuzzi and sunbathing area.
Riviera’s only watershed, welcomed the majestic 68m M/Y Aviva for a major and innovative refit, as well as M/Y Slipstream for her technical stop and M/Y Cleopatra, a 56.73m classic vessel, for her 40 year class survey. The network also carried out the delicate mast unstepping of the 64m Perini Navi, Spirit of the C’S.
Refit projects require considerable time and commitment, not only from the shipyards, but also from the crews who work in synergy with them. Recognising this, Palumbo SY Refit places a high priority on the well-being of its clients. The shipyards offer a range of facilities designed to improve the comfort and morale of crews and captains. These include a spa, accommodations, sports courts, dining rooms seating over 70, a fully equipped gym, a games room and a dedicated concierge service. In 2023, Palumbo SY Refit launched a dedicated 24/7 emergency phone line, + 33 6 70 44 40 04, a service much appreciated by clients requiring immediate assistance during the busy Mediterranean season. The strategic location of its seven shipyards enables Palumbo SY Refit to respond quickly to emergency requests, ensuring fast and effective solutions.
Recognising the critical importance of timely and comprehensive supply services during refit projects, Palumbo SY Refit established the largest yacht chandler in the Mediterranean in 2014. This facility boasts extensive storage areas and has successfully catered to a growing number of customer requests. The launch of PalumboChandlery.com, a fully operational e-commerce platform, further extends these services throughout the Mediterranean. A dedicated team is dedicated to customer needs, ensuring efficient product sourcing, quantity management and timely delivery.
