Quel piccolo e suggestivo porticciolo, dove le acque lambivano le case in pietra costruite sugli scogli, è divenuto oggi importante porto turistico e peschereccio. Ospita le numerose barche da pesca della marineria acciarolese che, al tramonto, scaricano il freschissimo pescato, offrendo una quantità e varietà di pesce di ottima qualità. Durante il periodo estivo diviene approdo e crocevia di tantissime barche che solcano il mediterraneo e che qui trovano le attrezzature ed i servizi idonei al diporto. Di sera, gli ampi piazzali e le aree banchinate, così come le stradine del centro storico o la caratteristica piazzetta, si popolano, diventando luogo di incontro e di piacevoli passeggiate durante le serate estive acciarolesi.
